Modern Spartan

There are a lot of 2nd Amendment related "Molon Labe" spartan helmet art works out there, so I was thinking, how can I do something with the spartan helmet I hadn't seen already.  So I thought to combine the classic steel mask from the spartan helmet and combining it with a current style military helmet often used by Special Forces.  This was done in a little less than 3 hours using Photoshop using digital paint with some photo-manipulation.

Just a girl and her tank!

I work with an interesting mix of military people and hard core gamers.  I wanted to make a PC desktop for my work station that reflected a bit of both sides.  One of my all time favorite arcade shooters is Metal Slug, so I was heavily inspired with the art from that game, leaning a bit more toward the Japanese art look for the character but going a bit more realistic with the tank.  Also the girl in this image is sporting a Glock 21...cause why not?

Military Concept Vehicle

I have been doing a lot more conceptual work as of late, here is a military vehicle of my own design that I decided to throw my Saturday at.  I roughed out the basic shape in a 3D package than took into Photoshop for the digital paint-over and variations.
